The ‘Black Friday’ would be the nightmare for everyone. The ‘City of Dreams’ has witnessed one of the most audacious terrorist attacks, 26th Nov 2008, in the history of India. In true sense it was a barbaric act. Killing hundreds of innocent, helpless people around by spraying bullets, they have proved themselves coward. The formidable ‘Taj’ and ‘Oberoi’ were riddled with bullets, exploded with grenades. The roads were in pool of blood.
Among all terror attacks, this attack targeted British nationals and Americans, to get international attention. So far most of the terrorist attacks were by Muslim countries neighboring India. It was since Indo-Pak split, the countries were struggling to maintain a peaceful relationship among them. Terrorism has augmented it.Islamist’s commitment of transforming the world, based on their religious beliefs has destabilized the whole nation. They began Islamic terrorism.
In the last 3 months, terror has shaken Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Delhi in a row! Well to my surprise, so far no strong measures have been taken to tackle the sporadic terror attacks.
It was 9/11, six years ago, in the history of world, and since then US is been living safe. But for India it has been massive intelligence negligence every time for the repeated number of blasts.
Political pressure on Intelligence Agencies must be zeroed. To combat future terror attacks Anti- Terror agencies must be politically insulated.
Last but not the least, the most indispensible weapon in defense of country should be Integrity. This was a lesson for people like Raj Thakre, rightly to be called Anti Indians. Just to remind him that most of the NSG commandoes were brought from North to fight terrorist so that he can sleep peacefully! Let’s forget about states. We are all Indians and let that be our religion. Fight back terrorism; get the hell out of world. And let the world breathe peacefully.
